Our Website has Launched!

Our new website: https://palegion502.org was launched on May 1st, 2025.
It was designed and programmed by our 2nd Vice-Commander: Christian Jackson. He hopes that everyone will appreciate the information on it which is updated monthly. Any comments or corrections and be emailed to [email protected]

$1500 FUNDRAISING GOAL SET!

The water damage caused by the roof leak in our event room needs to be repaired. Estimates received initially show approximately $1300 in costs. We’ve set a goal for $1500 to cover potential unforeseen expenses. Any unused funds will remain in the A.R.C. Fundraiser pot & go towards the next project. Visit our new website & hit “CLICK TO DONATE” (the last link on the left of the home page) OR make a check payable to: American Legion Home Assoc. Post 502 & drop off or mail-in. We depend on help from members to cover large unforeseen expenses like these, so THANK YOU!

WE’RE GIVING BACK TO COMMUNITY TOO!

Thanks to patronage & fundraising efforts of members we’ve made some modest donations throughout the Slate Belt. When you spend your hard earned money at our American Legion, know it's being used responsibly. Most recently, we sponsored “2” ADs on Pen Argyl High School T-shirts for Track & Field teams & the Music Department. We are also sponsoring a Wind Gap Scout to Camp, donated to Weona Park Pool Pals, provided “3” Honor Guard Services for Memorial day in Bangor & Pen Argyl, hosted and donated snacks & water for Flag Planting events and will be installing a new awning to shelter our volunteers & guests from the rain when they’re outside smoking. Labor for installation is generously being donated by TCC Builders in Bangor.

The Accessibility & Restoration Campaign (A.R.C.) where the Commander will work with a Team of volunteers to make our Legion more accessible to Americans with Disabilities and update our aging building has offi cially been announced.
